JEFF SUMMY

Jeff Summy has been coaching the Masters at COHO since the Fall of 1999. Jeff attended the University of Northern Iowa where he swam sprint freestyle, butterfly, and I.M.  During Jeff's tenure with COHO he has coached Masters State and National Champions and record-holders, and the Masters team has doubled in size!

 

For swimmers age 19 and up, Coho offers two different options within our Masters program.  In Masters I you may choose to swim any one of the three days offered per week.  In Masters II you may swim all three days offered.  Masters swimmers do NOT need to pay the USA/ISI Swimming registration fee, or the Coho Activity Fee. Masters swimmers may register through the Deerfield Park District any time for the spring season. There will be no other pro-rating besides the 1-day versus the 3-day per week option.

The Fall 2008 program dates are September 2nd-December 14th (15 weeks). Practices are Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 9:00-10:00pm, and Sunday mornings from 8:00-9:30am.  Practices are at Deerfield High School unless otherwise noted.  The Masters I program cost for district 109 & 113 residents is $115.00, and the cost for non-residents is $130.00.  The Masters II program cost for district 109 & 113 residents is $230.00, and the cost for non-residents is $260.00.
